About Us

“My little girl loves attending Number 9 The Nursery, she has such an amazing bond with not only her amazing Key Worker but all of the staff! They do a fantastic job keeping parents informed of what areas they’re working on. It’s really comforting to know that every aspect of our child’s development is being attended to.”

My husband and I are passionate about supporting families in Croydon and want you to be a part of a nursery which puts children first and recognises each child as an individual.

Number 9 was created as bespoke independent nursery and our devotion is to create a loving home-from-home environment where children are free to explore and engage their imaginations.

I have worked with children all my life and supporting children’s development is my passion. I have lots of experience in many roles, including being a Head Teacher of a Primary School, however, my dream has always been to open my own beautiful Day Nursery.

We provide a safe, fun and welcoming environment with lots of opportunities to ensure children reach their full potential whilst being nurtured both socially and emotionally.

At Number 9 The Nursery we care for children aged from 3 months to 5 years and we are open Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 6.00pm, 51 weeks of the year.

Children attending our nursery have wonderful opportunities to participate in Sing and Sign, Baby Ballet, Awake and Shake, French, Yoga and Pro-Star Sports.

Come and join our Number 9 Family!
