“We have two children at the nursery. It is a great setting with lots of outdoor play as well as learning designed to build skills ahead of the step to primary school.
Varied activities throughout the year have helped our children become inquisitive about the world around them and want to learn. In addition, the outdoor space is great and weekly activities have exposed our kids, during nursery hours, to much more than I would have expected before we started.
Staff have always been supportive and the kids love them. Staff turnover has also been low helping strong relationships between the children and staff to develop, plus consistency in communication with me as a parent.”

“Number 9 The Nursery is an outstanding nursery.
My little girl attended the nursery for two years before moving to a preschool (we only moved so that she would be familiar with the school she would be attending in September) and she loved being there. My little boy has recently started and took a while to settle, during which the team in the baby room were so lovely and supportive and consequently, he is now very happy and settled at Number 9 (very attached to his key worker which is a great sign!)
The facilities are fantastic, there is a lot of space for the children. The outdoor space is one of the best I’ve seen at a nursery and the activities are amazing – they have classes in the week included in the price (e.g. baby ballet, sing and sign) and they have chicks/ducklings which hatch around spring and reindeer at Christmas which are very exciting for the children.
The food is also excellent. All nurseries are expensive but you get what you pay for at Number 9 and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.”
